    Material: Terracotta clay, harvested in Australia. Selected for its ability to regulate moisture.

    The tray and lid are finished in a gloss glaze. The inside of the vessel is also glazed for added strength and ease of cleaning.

  • Made in small batches in Sydney, Australia, combining emerging ceramic 3D printing technology with traditional handcrafted techniques.

    The ceramic 3D printed vessel is printed of 100 layers and 300 meters of filament.

  • Mycelia House is made by hand and machine both, through ceramic 3D-printing and slip-casting. No two come out quite the same.

    The ceramic 3D-printed vessel consists of 100 layers and 300 metres of filament.

    Small air bubbles. Faint marks on the surface. A slight difference between the lid and the vessel it sits on. None of it affects how the piece works. It’s just what clay and a slow machine leave behind when a person finishes the rest by hand.

    Each vessel is hand finished, fired, and glazed in small batches in Sydney, Australia.

  • The ceramics are durable and designed to last with proper care.

    To clean: rinse with warm water using a soft sponge between uses. No soaps, detergents, or abrasives.

  • Used mushroom substrate from Grow Bags can be returned to the earth to enrich soil.

    The plastic bags should be disposed of in the bin. Bio-plastic alternatives will be adopted when available.
